I see you and you see me,
You call me names and mess with me,
You don’t like my hair or the way I dress,
You strike me down when I’m at my best,
I drink you away to numb the pain,
You’re gone for a while then you’re back again,
I want to get better, so I take my medication,
I’ll do anything to stop this hallucination,
You want to cause trouble and always want me to fight,
But I try to ignore you with all of my might,
People think I’m mad when I walk down the street,
When I’m talking to you but staring at my feet,
You come in all shapes and sizes, I don’t know what next,
Is it just me or am I just hexed?
